Institutional Change Application for Distance Education through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)

Colorado School of Mines applied to HLC to obtain approval for multiple online courses and programs. Documentation to support this effort was organized around the Guidelines for the Evaluation of Distance Education and included the following evidence:

  • Online Strategic Plan for Online Courses and Programs
  • Assessment Plan for Online Courses and Programs
  • Online Retention and Completion Data Report
  • Eight Year Budget to Support Online Programs
  • Marketing and Promotion Plan

Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) for SACSCOC Accreditation

Pasco Hernando State College’s QEP, “Get eSmart: Using Technology to Enhance Instruction and Streamline Student Development Services,” was designed to increase student retention and success in online courses; enable students to increasingly integrate online student services as part of their academic planning process; and assist students in utilizing the College’s learning management system, myPHSC, for technologically enhanced learning in face-to-face courses.
