LEARNING DESIGN

Used backward design, results driven principles, and active learning practices to design and develop engaging, impactful, and high- quality learning experiences and pathways for multiple modalities. Encouraged and supported the use of adult learning principles which included experiential learning, strategies for motivation, and assessment of the student’s readiness to learn.

PROGRAM MANAGER 

Led strategic initiatives for the Security Sales Organization that were focused on go-to-market, organizational structure, tech stack implementation, and integration of acquisitions into the larger organization. Managed large-scale projects including the implementation of a new learning management systems, web conferencing platform, virtual proctoring solution, and digital media studio. Managed the annual distance learning budget of $700,000 and all resources needed to facilitate distance-learning functions across all five campuses.

CHANGE AND PROJECT MANAGER 

Managed strategy and planning projects for senior leadership to drive revenue growth for security sales. Led initiatives at a STEM university that included an overhaul of infrastructure and processes, the development of 24 new online graduate programs, documentation of compliance with federal and international regulations, and achievement of distance education accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission. Coordinated ad hoc committees to increase student retention, improve online teaching and learning outcomes, and provide higher education access to all learners regardless of background.

COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION 

Worked cross-functionally with product marketing, strategy & planning, sales, operations, and enablement to support organizational change. Facilitated a thoughtful and inclusive environment for instructional designers, subject matter experts, faculty, and administrators to develop high-quality, universally-designed hybrid and online courses and training. Chaired an e-learning committee to strategically plan with relevant stakeholders for the development and implementation of e-learning initiatives that ensured compliance with all state and federal regulations, accreditation requirements for distance education, and institutional quality standards.
